Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan by №109 of February 8, 1999. “In order to improve research and scientific and education activities, strengthening the material-technical and financial base literary museums” - House-museum S.Mukanov and House-museum G.Musrepov was created. «State Literary – memorial museum complex by S.Mukanov and G.Musrepov».
The museum consists of two common rooms: Literary and memorial.
Sabit Mukanov is one of the prominent representatives of the Kazakh literature by public figure, writer-academician twentieth century, whose products have got the broad confession domestic and foreign readers.
The Resolution of the Advice Minister Kazakh SSR left in 1976 about opening literary-memorial building museum Sabit Mukanov.
A since November 21, 1978 museum began to take their own first visitors the museum open house, where writer has conducted last 8 years to lives. (1965-1973)
Before present-day exposure museum was updated twice to 90-year and to 100-year writer.
