The Church of St. John Nepomuk, better known as Asamkirche, is a church located on the Sendlinger Straße in the historical centre of Munich, Germany.
It is one of the masterpieces of Rococo. It was built between 1733 and 1746, in Rococo style, by the brothers Cosmas Damian and Egid Quirin Asam. Originally the church was conceived as a private cult building, but the citizens of Monaco forced the Asam brothers to open it to the public.
