To your right is another example of the close-knit diversity that exemplifies Chinatown: Bangla Bazar, a Bangladeshi grocery store, and the Thim Hing Sandwich Shop, a Vietnamese hole-in-the-wall, right beside each other. Check out Bangla Bazar for their meat selection, or if you want to try out some chanachur, a spicy Bangladeshi trail mix. If you just want a tasty sandwich, you can step into Thim Hing, where you can grab a banh mi xiu mai, their specialty sweet and sour meatball sandwich, served on a toasted baguette, soaked in zesty meatball broth, and topped with homemade mayo.
