Established in 1984, CARILLON PARK RAIL & STEAM SOCIETY operates a miniature railroad through Carillon Historical Park on Saturdays (and the occasional Sunday) from April–December.  The Carillon website contains the train schedule days of operation. Rides are $1 per person, per ride, and the funds directly support the Society. Ride passes are also available. Held each June, the Society’s main event is Carillon Historical Park’s Rail Festival—a two-day family fun event featuring free miniature train rides, live steam engines, model train displays, historical displays, train merchandise, rail vendors, and much more.
