Castell de Torre Baró is in fact not a castel, but was constructed to be a hotel in the early 1900s. It belonged to a baron that was the landowner of the area of 215 hektars. It was however never finished. Now a days, it is open for public at specific times, and it holds events such as "castel blues" - where they play blues music. There are some interesting myths around the history of it. One of them is that it was meant to be a treatment home for the barons son, that reputendly were chronic sick.
