We are close to an old quarry of fossil extraction, the "Cava Caudana".
Here in the 1970s tens of thousands of beautifully preserved fossil shells were found. Part of the finds is exhibited in the paleontological section of the "Federico Eusebio" Museum in the city of Alba.
