More than 30,000 travelers arrive and depart at Tilburg station every day. Tilburg station is a striking appearance (architect: Koen van der Gaast), the roof has a special shape and consists of twelve hyppar scales. These scales provide curved surfaces that together ensure the stability of the roof. The shape of the roof is built in such a way that it looks as if the roof is floating loosely above all traffic flows. The station was named a national monument a few years ago.
