The Centro Commerciale Azzurro is located in via Marco Aurelio 189 (and via Cupa Nuova Cintia 41), at the exit of the ring road in Fuorigrotta a step away from the Federico II University of Monte Sant'Angelo and the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, near schools and offices and can be easily reached by car or on foot. It officially opens its doors to the public on February 24, 2016, anticipated by an inauguration ceremony the previous day. Azzurro Life&Shopping, this is the full name of the structure, was made possible by the President of Conad, Claudio Alibrandi, owner of the building, whose superstore occupies a large part of the ground floor. Azzurro and, inside, in the 3 floors, there are 19 shops and the whole structure is part of a context long left to decay, replacing the old San Paolo Shopping Center.
