Also known as Wimbledon Cemetery, this twenty acre site opened in eighteen seventy six and contains the graves of both residents and non-residents. The cemetery contains the graves of fifty seven Second World War servicemen. One of the youngest casualties was nineteen year old Peter Wallis, a Sergeant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died in December nineteen forty two. The oldest service interment is that of sixty six year old Home Guard, Thomas Williams, who died in September 1940.
