Gérardmer lake is a lake located in the village of Gérardmer, near the city center, in the Grand Est region. It is situated at 660 height and It is a lake of glacial origin. It’s one of the three lakes formed following glacial withdrawals after the Würm glaciation. It’s the biggest natural lake in the Vosges and has an area of 155 hectars. Gérardmer lake flows through the intermediary of a short emissary who is Jamagne.

In the Gérardmer lake, we can find a converted track of  7 kilometer. The lake proposes a lot of nautical activities like sailing, rowing and fishing. We can also do a cruise with a solar-powered boat. There are also beaches equipped for swimming. This lake is also visible for the winter ski resorts, which makes it a very nice point of view.
