Himeji Castle is the tallest wooden building in all of Japan and has a beautiful appearance that makes it unique in the world. Although from the outside the Daitenshu appears to be a 5-story building, it actually has 7 floors in total: six above ground and one basement. It is Japan's first registered World Cultural Heritage. It is said to be a masterpiece of castle architecture technology unique to Japan that reached it's apex in 1600.
In addition to it's tourist attraction, the Castle has nine classical Japanese gardens around it, called the "Kokoen" gardens.
An incredible tourist destination for recreation and architectural appreciation, which emits the history of Japan through it's walls
