Your tour begins at the Holyoke Center, which occupies the entire block of Massachusetts Avenue between Holyoke and Dunster Street. The building was completed in 1966 and designed by Jose Lluís Sert, a former dean of the Graduate School of Design. Holyoke Center houses the Office of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, many of the university's administrative offices and the University Health Services. If you are inside the building you will need to exit towards Massachusetts Avenue and cross the street here. Your next destination is across the street inside Harvard Yard.
