It is endowed with beautiful 18th century facades and a succession of unique traditional shop signs. We’ll see the birth place of the country’s most famous son, Mozart. We’ll also be able to admire the old market place with its 18th century apothecary’s shop, which has retained its original features and is still in use today, the beautiful town hall and a superb Renaissance passage. Our walk will also take us to the doors of the Symphonic Festival Hall, the most prestigious and elegant in the world. We’ll conclude with the remarkable University Church, a Baroque masterpiece of the greatest Austrian architect, Johan Bernhard Fischer von Erlach.
