The arena allocated for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ in Kaliningrad, named Stadium Kaliningrad, will be hosting four group matches of the World Cup.
Stadium Kaliningrad was built on Oktyabrsky Island, close to the bank of the Staraya Pregola River, a leisurely 30-minute walk from Kneiphof Island, the site of the town’s most remarkable church, the early 14th-century Cathedral, and the grave of Immanuel Kant.
The five-level stadium building with three tiers of outdoor stalls is shaped as a rectangle with rounded edges.
