It is a monastery that was founded in 1914 by the Third Order Regular (TOR) Franciscans to establish a Franciscan seminary. It is located very close to the beach, in a place that was rather solitary in the past but now is a very tourist spot. The community of friars still lives in the monastery, which also houses a semi-private school. The buildings are surrounded by gardens and the typical Mediterranean pine forest, which encourage reflection, the encounter with nature and sport.
