The Louisiana Arts and Science Museum is another place both the kids and will love. I’ll give you a tip: be prepared to play, as this place is very interactive! The permanent exhibitions take you from ancient Egypt to outer space. There is a real Egyptian mummy, which had the museum confused when it first arrived back in the 1960s. They thought it was a female but later studies showed it was male.
There are some art exhibits but this museum is geared mostly toward science and discovery. If you have youngsters, take them to Discover Depot or Science Station. The Discovery Depot is geared for youngsters aged six months to nine years and the Science Station is for the seven to 12 age group. They will have fun and learn something new. You will too.
