The Maison de la Pataphonie, formerly The House of Pleban, is the oldest residence in Dinant (15th – 16th century). The Pleban, pastor or chaplain, was an authority in the church. The house of the Pataphonie is the place of innovation, the place where everyone can make music with objects, unique and playfull, together with others. It was an idea by Max Vandervorst, luthier sauvage, someone who can truly do anything with stringed instruments. Traveling through Pataphonie is being led by the guide Pataphon on road to surprising atmospheres and sounds.
