Malta Thermal Baths(Termy Maltańskie) is the biggest sports and recreation centre in Poland and the second largest facility of its kind in Europe. It is located on the northern shore of Malta Lake in Poznań, near the Malta Ski recreation centre and “Maltanka” railway track leading to the New Zoo. It covers an area of 6 ha and uses natural thermal waters. The construction of the complex began in 2009 and finally the object was opened in 2011.Malta Thermal Baths have been included in the list of investments,related to the organisation of the UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship. The facility is divided into four zones and includes recreational pools, sports pools and sauna and spa area.
