Pol: The people that stays here now with us, are searching a relaxing time in this small and attractive beach. One of the reasons why this Janbeach is so peaceful is for the isolated location of it. The majority of the foreign tourists are in the Sardinero’s beach, the most famous beach of Santander that we will see later in a minutes. Now, we are going to the rock steps at the back of the beach, next to the showers and the toilets. This steps are the only way to enter and leave the beach. The entrance and exit of the beach is located in the avenue of el Faro, 18. At the final of this street we will find our next destination, Mataleña’s park and viewpoint. At our left side you can see the golf course of Santander. In Mataleñas park. Before arrive at the park and viewpoint we will walk through a nice way surrounded by trees.
Pol: Now we are inside the park, you can see that it’s full of enormous palm-trees. The origins of this park: This park was from a country house very near the city and now it’s a park. This park is peaceful and relaxing. You can appreciate the majesty of mixture of the palm-trees with the sound of the waves colliding with the sand. Through the park we are going closer to a viewpoint and a very small cove, Molunico’s viewpoint. In front of us you can see el Sardinero’s beach and the tall buildings of Santander.
