Mansur ata was revered as a saint. Following the footsteps of his father, he became a preacher of Islam.
According to legend, 950 years ago Sairam was the center of a big khanate and the city was ruled by Mansur. When he was 80, the ruler of Bukhara Ismail Samani, captured the city, and Mansur was imprisoned in Bukhara. Freed from dungeon, Mansur ata returned to his homeland, took up farming at the foot of the mountain, and lived in honest labor. One summer was especially arid. People began to die of hunger. Then Mansur decided to distribute to people his whole supply of grain.
Mausoleum of Mansur ata is located in Tolebi district, in the village of Alisher Navoi. Presumably it was built 950-1000 years ago. The mausoleum is built of burnt brick, consists of one room.
