The National University of Colombia is considered the first university in Colombia founded in 1867. It is of public order, and has the reputation of being the most important and representative university in the country, for its tradition, prestige, quality and selectivity. It is linked to the history and academic production of Latin America. Here is the flagship campus, but it has offices throughout the country, currently has approximately 50,000 students.
