Technical Museum Nikola Tesla shows the development and application of technological advances. Along with its permanent display, it features special exhibits such as the Planetarium, the Apisarium, the Mine, and the Nikola Tesla study.

The museum was established in 1954 to promote science and technology. Since 1958 it is situated in the former Zagreb Fair wooden buildings in the city centre.

The building is an exhibit on its own. A rare early 20th-century example of European engineering concept of expo-halls timber structures with a large span.

Throughout the years they collected some 10,000 items typical for the 19th and 20th-century industrial era. The museum is interesting as you get to see the evolution of science and technology through their displays.
