This small hamlet, which as the name itself says, is one of the portions into which the territory that runs along the Livenza river is divided, is located on the left bank of the river, and is divided between the municipalities of Càorle and San Stino di Livenza. The name derives from the subdivisions of the land that were defined by the Government of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, following the division the “Prese” were sold to Venetian nobles who moved there, and in any case governed them, contributing to the profit of the Serenissima and to the maintenance of areas that later became the subject of reclamation, like all the surrounding ones. From the era of domination by the Serenissima remains an eighteenth-century villa, in the territory of Càorle, now renovated and known as a hotel restaurant, with a private landing on the river.
