The Peabody Trust was one of the most succesful Model Dwelling Companies of the 19th century. Their estates can be found scattered around London, and they remain active as a housing association today.
Following site clearances in the slums of Spitalfields, Commercial Street was developed as a large thoroughfare in East-London.
