An architectural monument, 1894

Address: st. Utepbaeva, 44.

The building was built at the end of the 19th century. In the album of the road builder across Siberia and Asian Russia for 1901, there is a photograph of this building with the inscription “Kyrgyz mission”.  The year of construction of the "Spiritual Mission" is 1894.  According to old residents, Kazakh orphans were baptized here, and they accepted the Orthodox faith.  Since 1952, by the decision of the City Executive Committee, the building was transferred to the topographic technical school.  In 1994, by the decision of the Head of the Semey regional administration of August 30, No. 01-1195, the building was transferred to the free use of the Russian Orthodox Church in the city of Semey.  Since 1994, the Temple of St. Peter and Paul (Convent) has been located here.
