Welcome !

The Curious Travelers Guild is happy to guide you!

Poetry of Anna de Noailles: Annecy.

Annecy, delicate, kind, humble Venice,

Houses and docks built on narrow canals,

City where Jean-Jacques saw for the first time,

Madame de Warens coming out of the church ...

Here, bathed in the waters of a green canal that sleeps,
The garden where lived, isolated young widow,
Under a flowering tree like a big azalea,
Kindergarten loving kisses without remorse.

The fresh dawn wind is blue like sage.
We are already passing an early merchant;
A gay mill on the joyful water of the canal,
Done, turning his wheel, a clear sound that wades.

There is the warm lake, the melted lake of love,
Who cradles his languor against the soft shore,
Where already the perfume of Italy arrives,
And puts his nonchalance and pollen so heavy.

But I prefer this corner of the city, where persists,
The garden that lit up the laughter of his eyes,
The lady of Lausanne with delicious tits,
Who was quick to pleasure, carefree and sad.

Good continuation of visit!
