52 Rue du Général de Gaulle, Auvers-sur-Oise

Vincent stayed at the Inn of Arthur Ravoux. Opposite this inn is the townhall of Auvers which Vincent painted on the national holiday of July 14, 1890.

Vincent shoots himself in the chest and walks back to the inn where he dies three days later, on 29 July 1890, in the presence of his brother Theo. Between 1985 and 1990 the inn was restored back to the condition it was in, in 1890. It is now a small museum: Maison de Van Gogh
