The idea of this building belonged to the architecture of Peckshen, but helped to design it by Laube, who is still a student at the time. It is a powerful building with an expressive silhouette. There are several expressed projections, bay windows, balconies, loggias, a corner tower and massive entrance portals. Some of the projects resemble the architecture of the Renaissance and the Middle Ages, but the overall appearance of the building is clearly a national romanticism. The reliefs of the ornament, which were included in the facade, are the stylistic motifs of the flora and fauna - pine branches, cones and squirrels. The windows of several apartments were made of stained glass, which is an exotic plant. The architect's apartments were located on the ground floor until 1907. And the fifth floor belonged to the painter Rosenthal, where his memorial apartment is now located. Rosenthals, who was the most outstanding Latvian artist in the Art Nouveau period, lived and worked here since 1900.

The stairwell is the hallmark of Riga. The walls are covered with plaster and painted, the lower part is painted in red, and the upper part is also decorated with the same stencil ornaments as the facade - needles and cones. Here you can also find 4 landscapes: the sea and the views of the Dutch nature. The ceiling is also decorated with various motifs of flora and fauna.

The Riga Art Nouveau Museum was opened in 2009 and shows the layout and furnishings of an ordinary apartment of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The museum exposition begins with an entrance hall, in which there is an old and unique bench "Olo & Melia. 1906.g.". In the next cabinet there was a cabinet stylized with ornamentation with flowers and a collection of interior wallpapers, along which one can study the trend of changes in the 20th century.

The living room is the most solemn room of the apartment. The set located here was made in Western Europe. The interior is complemented by a German clock, a St. Petersburg gramophone and a small winter garden.

In the mantel room, we usually had long conversations by the fire with a glass of wine and playing chess. The fireplace itself is made at the Riga factory "Celm and Bam". Furniture is also acquired in Western Europe. On the walls made in natural motifs, one can see lithographs and photographs of the architect of the Peckshen building.

The place of the whole family was served by a grand dining room. Various materials are used in decoration. Wooden panels and doors are painted green, which is a symbol of objection. The ceiling uses a stencil painting and various still lifes. The furniture is made by Latvian craftsmen, and the window is decorated with stained glass.

The architect's workshop adjoins the owner's bedroom. The workshop cupboard displays sets of glassware and porcelain from the beginning of the 20th century. In the bedroom is dominated by a dark brown gamut of shades, which is symbolized with earth and passion.

The kitchen is the main room for the hostess of the house and her maid. The central exhibit is a cooker made at the factory "Villeroi and Boh". On the shelves there are kitchen utensils used at that time. The main innovation of the 20th century - a wooden refrigerator produced in Latvia - is the main decoration of the Dining Room.
