To rent a wetsuit, a surfboard or take some surf class, I really recommend for you to go to the surf school Soul Surf because it’s a place full of happiness and the people there are really friendly, open-minded and most of all professional. You can rent both a wetsuit and a surfboard for 7000 Chilean pesos. You have to meet one of the owners of the surf school, Rodrigo Gallegos, nicknamed “Mono” by everybody because he provides a lot of information about Surfing in general, Surf forecasts or simply just hanging out with him. When coming to this place, you can directly conclude that Soul Surf is the result of the union of friends that started giving surf lessons since 1992, in fifth region. Diego Araya, Nono Marambio and Rodrigo Gallegos among others. I think that their goal was not only to provide some surf lessons but also create a real life style, a friendly environment, respectful of friendships and security thanks to quality of the material they are renting and the advice that they can give you there. Their surf shot also has changing rooms, surf shops, lockers and hot showers, which are convenient when you come back from the cold water from the sea. They have a small cafeteria where you can eat fresh and homemade empanadas to recover your energy after the exercise. It is a good idea to go there with some friends because there is always music, smiles and a Jacuzzi to sit in with your friends.
