St. Ann's Hill car park
Overview

St Ann’s hill is a prominent feature on the landscape of Chertsey, which can be seen for miles around. Human use of the site dates back to prehistoric times, although there is very little in the way of object based evidence.

It has only been called St Ann’s Hill from the 14th century when St Anne was canonised. Before then it was known as Mount Eldebury.
