We would like to acknowledge the Cammeraigal people who are the traditional custodians of this land. We would also like to pay respect to the elders past and present of the Guringai nation and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people.
The content of this guided walk includes indigenous heritage of the Mosman area, the development of Mosman, the original artists of the area, the life of the bohemians and the Curlew Artists' Camp.
Please see the attached map for a geographic overview of the walk. The walk is 1km and should take around 1.5 hours for a return trip. Amenities and water are available at Sirius Cove Reserve.
Please note the following guidelines for this walk.
- Stay on the path so as to preserve surrounding bush land.
- Be mindful of other walkers and pass on the left.
- Preserve the natural environment by disposing of any rubbish you have in bins or take it with you.
- Take lots of photographs and upload to social media using the hashtag #curlewcampwalk
