Historical event: Museum. writer I. K. Kalashnikov in the village Sharalday of the Republic of Buryatia was opened in the homeland of the famous countryman. He was born here on August 9, 1931.Where he went to school. When he was 10 years old, the Great Patriotic war began, the future writer began working on a local farm to help fellow villagers in this difficult time for the whole country. He later joined the lathe crew and became a Turner. The first story of I. K. Kalashnikov was published in the newspaper "Buryat-Mongolian truth", in 1954 he was admitted to the staff of the newspaper "Buryat-Mongolian Komsomolets". The writer's first novel was published in a local magazine in 1959.

Description: Museum named after the writer of Isai Kalistratovich Kalashnikov is situated in the village Sharalday. You can drive to it from the village of Mukhorshibir on the road leading to TSOGU. It is located in an old house, and its exposition represents the life and culture of "Semey", archive and personal belongings of the writer, rare books. The village regularly hosts Kalashnikov reading, excursions.
