The house of the Via del Pino and the allotment slag

We are climbing up the Via del Pino, up where there is white pole and a cleared space. There used to be an allotment, but since the wall collapsed, it’s no longer there. One day, while they were putting in the heating pipes, some workers dug under the wall by mistake and it collapsed. My mother and I came out because we heard a loud noise… noise, anyway! Then we asked what had happened and they found a lot of slag everywhere. I didn’t mind, because I never ate anything from that allotment, I only cared because I used to play in it. But there is still an apple tree there; no, two. And a pear tree too, I think. If you look behind the pole, you can see how much slag was under it.
