“Khvoynyi Urman” (‘pine forest’) ski resort opened in Khanty-Mansiysk in the spring of 2004. Among its list of rewards features the victory in “Most athletic resort of 2017” category according to Ski Business Forum.
Competitions of federal and world significance are regularly held on the premises of the ski resort complex, such as Russian Snowboarding Championship, Russian Final cup, Winter Deaflympics, and many others.
Thanks to modern equipment, high carrying capacity of chairlifts and tracks with diverse terrain “Khvoinyi Urman” received recognition among locals and guests of the city. The complex features two ski tracks for skiers and snowboarders. One of them is less challenging, designed for tubing aficionados and beginners. Skating is also an option here. The resort offers any necessary equipment for rent.
Aficionados of winter sports are taken to the top of the track by a ropeway, which lasts for 1 kilometer. There are enough places for everyone, because the complex is designed to host 3000 visitors simultaneously.
