The Leopold Museum is a unique and active museum in the heart of Vienna and the largest cultural property of the Museum Quarter of Vienna. The Leopold Collection is one of the most important collections of modern Austrian art in the world. More than 5,000 exhibits were collected by Rudolf and his wife Elizabeth Leopold for five decades. In 1994, the collection was consolidated by Rudolph Leopold and the Austrian National Bank in the private fund of the Leopold Museum - a non-profit private foundation.
