Here you can see the Palace of Hetman of Ukraine KyryloRozumovskyi, an architectural monument of national significance. The palace was built in 1799-1803 by the project of the Scottish architect Charles Cameron, who designed the buildings in the classical style.

This is the only Hetman's Palace in Ukraine that has stood the test of time.

The palace consists of a central three-story building with 55 rooms and detached two-story side outbuildings. Almost just from the time of construction, the history of the destruction of this architectural masterpiece began. Of several restoration attempts, the last one, which took place under the aegis of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko in 2003-2009, was successful.

In 2009, a museum exhibition dedicated to the era of the Hetmanate was created on two floors of the palace. It introduces to the guest the prominent figures who fought for the independence of Ukraine in the XVII – XVIII centuries.

We invite you to learn more about the Palace of Hetman of Ukraine Kyrylo Rozumovskyi in a separate audio guide.

Please, proceed to the country residence of Hetman Ivan Mazepa, Honcharivka.
