As the proverb says: "God put a piece of heart of each Kazakh in kui from the moment of his birth." Rapid musical-poetic improvisation accompanied the Kazakh people throughout its history.

Creation of the first professional orchestra is at the beginning of the twentieth century, and is associated with the work of the "Society of Zealots of Education" in Verny.

In 1935 in the country, State Philharmonic Hall opens its doors, which in 1938 was named after a great Kazakh akyn Zhambyl Zhabayev.

Philharmonic Hall was built in 1933-36 by architects D.Fomichev, E.Tseytts, an engineer V.Raylyan.

It is complicated in terms of construction building, consisting of four adjacent pavilions. Stylistic characteristics demonstrate the style of "simplified classics."

Laconic façade and rich decoration of interior design create a unique example of architecture of the city. Great acoustics allows us to perform the most complex products, unique in their sound.
