This statue was built in 2014 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the canonization of Agnes. The designer is Jindřich Skokan and it was created by the stonemasonry and a sculpture industrial school in Hořice. It was funded by several inhabitants of Litomyšl and belongs to the local movement Dvě lípy (Two lindens) which cares about it. Saint Agnes of Bohemia was a medieval Bohemian princess who built a hospital for the poor and helped keeping peace in Bohemia when there were conflicts in the family of Přemyslovci. She also built a big monastery Na Františku in Prague and became an abbess (the greatest nun).
