Turn left from the stairs and continue a few steps until you reach Tünel, a short underground railway line which will take you swiftly up to Istiklal Street. This is the Karaköy Station and there is only one stop and only one other station at the top of the hill named Tünel. You may use the funicular with the Istanbul Card, which can be purchased or topped up from the machines at the entrance of the station.
