Vanaheim

Vanaheim is the world of the Vanir gods, the lower deities of Norse mythology. In the past they fought in war against the Aesir, and traded hostages to keep the peace.
It seems that the two races went to war because the Vanir engage in practices that the Aesir despise, such as incest and forbidden types of magic.
The world of the Vanir is not described in any of the sources that have come down to us, but it is supposed to be a fertile land where magic delights, as all the Vanir gods we know of are fertility deities and sorcerers.
