It is one of the most beautiful villas of the Isola Bergamasca.
Built in the first half of the eighteenth century on commission of the Counts Zanchi, Villa Gromo is set in an amphitheater of trees.
It has a large porch closed by a sandstone balustrade. The facade ends with an attic with three oval openings and is framed by the two wings of the building.
The interior presents a series of frescoed rooms with allegorical figures, caryatids, fake balustrades, glimpses of columns, aerial perspectives, silhouettes and illusionistic frames.
The villa is located at 250 meters above sea level.
