Voroshilovsky Bridge is one of the symbols of Rostov-on-Don.

It was built in 1965 according to the design of engineer N. Kuznetsov and architect Sh. Kleiman. It was unique bridge, as for the first time world-wide the glue bonded joints were used, but not bolted or welded connections.

In 2017 the bridge got its reincarnation. It obtained six lanes for automobile traffic and now is much more convenient not only for motorists but also for pedestrians.

Voroshilovsky Bridge is called the “Southern Gates of Rostov”. It does not only connect the city with its satellite-towns – Bataisk and Azov, but also connects two parts of the world – Europe and Asia.
