Welcome to the Zarafshan National Nature Park!
Now we are near the park's administration buildings. From here we will go on a walking tour of the tugai – a riparian forest on the banks of the Zarafshan River. We are going to take a 4-kilometer walk, during which we will see the plants that grow in this forest and learn which animals inhabit it. We will also hear the calls of the various birds who may call this forest home.
We are going to visit the Zarafshan River and by looking at its current condition we will see what careless management of our natural environment can lead to.
While walking, pay attention to any footprints you see on the ground, look into the distance on all sides and listen to the sounds around you. Nature will reveal its secrets to the most attentive!
