Xifer l-Infern/ Hell's End

This area is known by the name Xifer l-infern or Hell's End, and it is the furthest point of the Maltese Islands and the Delimara Peninsula. During Winter season, the area is exposed to the most extreme weather. Winds move bodies and waves plunge above the cliffs, pulling back into the sea any thing in its path.  On calm days, one can have the sensation of standing into emptiness at the edge between land and sea. It is still very popular for sport fishing enthusiast as sizeable fish migrate close by the shore, enjoying the calm and solitude.
