Best of Denver Audio Adventure

Introduction:

Our crew of talented guides narrate our Audio Adventure Tours so that you can experience and learn more about Denver's unique history, architecture, and landmarks on your own time and at your own pace.

Get the inside scoop on the gorgeous, surprising and sometimes, hidden and secret sights that make up the heart of our downtown Denver area on this Audio Adventure. This self-guided tour experience gives you the perfect blend of great views, Denver characters from our past and their stories, and some of our can't-miss public art.

This is a fun opportunity for both local Denverites and Coloradans to see the Mile High City from a completely new perspective and gives visitors to our beautiful city a chance to get an inside and exclusive look at our city away from the tourist traps. 

This Audio Adventure takes you on a visit to Denver Center for Performing Arts's and the famous Dancers art piece. You'll then see the city from a completely different perspective on the Cherry Creek Trail and the street art dotting the trail. Next we'll head off to the Larimer Square area to two hidden areas even most locals don't know about, followed by Rockmount Ranchwear, the Oxford Hotel and the Cruise Room, ending at Denver's first brewpub: Wynkoop Brewing

Hello! and welcome to Denver Walking Tours “Best of Denver Audio Adventure Tour!” My name is Renata, and I will be your guide for the next 75 minutes. I am originally from the Windy City, but I have been living in Denver for about 8 years now. My passion is education - I used to teach in the classroom, and now I love educating groups of people from all over the world while leading history and food tours! The best part about this job is walking around in the sunshine and not being stuck inside. I can’t wait to show you some unique stops today in our Mile High City that are off the beaten path! Let’s get started!

This route will include one mile of walking, at relatively flat terrain. And, I will offer commentary at several sites designed to introduce you to the city of Denver, its history, its characters and their stories, and its culture.

Depending on how long you take to enjoy each site and the pace at which you walk, the tour will take approximately an hour to an hour and twenty minutes or so.  We’ve tried to include some of the route’s most fun, unique and interesting locations, and we truly hope that you love the experience!
